The successful candidate will utilize scientific and administrative skills to support metabolomics research services on the West Lafayette campus of Purdue University.

Requirements

• Independently develop and apply metabolomics workflows including experimental design, metabolomics sample preparation, instrumental analysis and data analysis.
• Proficient with HPLC and mass spectrometric analysis (HPLC-MS) of small biological molecules. 
• Interface with faculty, staff and students to undertake research projects, develop project budgets, generate and analyze data and to solve technical and scientific problems.
• Lead collaborations and communicate effectively with internal and external users of the core services.
• Assume authorship level role in collaborative investigations with faculty and their research groups by developing methods and interpreting data for reports, presentations, and publications. 
•  Lead the development and implementation of new experimental methods for use in the core facility.
• Demonstrate leadership abilities to implement new core services and acquire new instrumentation.
