The Role Work within a transdisciplinary team of passionate therapists throughout the Kimberley region. We provide therapy services in our well-equipped facilities but mainly visit our participants in their own homes. Furthermore we provide therapy services in very remote areas and communities. Therefore we offer professional 4WD courses to make sure you have the best experience reaching your clients in our company vehicle on dirt roads or through river crossings. We also charter private aircrafts to get you in some of the most remote and pristine communities that Australia has to offer. You will have the opportunity to work with children and adults who are culturally and linguistically diverse and have a wide range of disabilities.
Requirements
Essential skills, experience & qualifications
Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology.
Current membership with SPA (Full registration).
Therapists with all skill levels are encouraged to apply.
Excellent interpersonal manner and cross-cultural skills for working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Willingness to learn and grow.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
Willing to obtain NDIS Worker's Clearance.
Current Driver’s Licence.
Vaccinated for Covid19 (Recommended 3 vaccinations).
Current Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain).
Current First Aid Certificate including CPR.
