Description

The Digital Marketing Manager will have a passion for digital communication, a drive to push boundaries and experience in knowing what works. Outstanding storyteller, forward thinking, innovative and an excellent communicator. A digital manager with 5+ years’ experience who can maximize our digital opportunities across multiple platforms. The Digital Marketing Manager possesses a deep understanding and familiarity with social channel audience building, campaign strategy, monitoring and reporting; search campaigns; and web development. Proven ability to execute strong, digital story-telling elevating the St. Croix Hospice brand. Create, execute and improve our online presence across platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, email campaigns, press releases and digital advertising, as well as website. This role will track and report data and use results and information to improve our online presence, messaging and performance.   

This is a virtual, remote role preferably located in the Midwest area.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute short + long-form copywriting for digital properties (social, blog, website, email, etc.) + work with creative teams to fuel asset creation.
  • Execute extensive social media channel audits + competitive research inclusive of content categories, content format, paid campaign evaluations, community management, reputation management, etc.
  • Develop social media plans/strategies from key findings and insights, inclusive of audiences, platforms, tactics, and measurement.
  • Determine and plan content framework (themes, topics, etc.) and distribution across channels + campaigns, inclusive of social media specific content calendar creation.
  • Plan campaigns, audiences, and budgets for paid social, based upon collaborative strategy decisions.
  • Use analytic platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe, Facebook, etc.) to compile reports for social content, campaigns, and channel performance + analyze data to produce insights and integrate into ongoing plans.
  • Provide social media governance and account structure recommendations.
  • Identify and execute community management best practices, inclusive of crisis response and escalation guidelines/plans, social monitoring, proactive engagement identification + execution and community management + social listening reporting.
  • Responsible for deep understanding + reporting on current and emerging social platforms, best practices, and their potential business applications


Requirements

  • 5+ years of applicable experience in digital marketing, managing social media and website content.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, English or other fields that enhance your ability to create relevant original content.
  • Positive attitude, organized, excellent problem-solving and great communication skills.
  • Curious, detail oriented, broad thinker able to focus on many little details that influence the broader outcome with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests while also having the flexibility to adjust to change and circumventing issues as they arise with effective problem-solving skills.
  •  Understanding of key concepts of brand, messaging and audience and proven excellence in online marketing, social media, Google, website, analytics, and email campaigns with prior success in boosting marketing effectiveness
  • Passion, talent, and experience in social media content + channel execution, content marketing efforts, analytics, and measurement tactics
  • Creating and executing on a compelling social media calendar built to capture attention, grow audiences, and increase brand awareness with a consistent voice and across all digital platforms.
  • Will provide digital marketing solutions and developing effective strategies and campaigns including auditing, branding and identity, website management, content development, SEO, paid advertising, and more.
  • Understanding of internal and external brand, audiences, and consistent powerful messaging through cross functional collaboration with all aspects of marketing and communication
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication (digital copywriting) skills
  • Ability to review, conduct and report on marketing data analysis and present fresh strategies and new approaches; proficient in paid social, SEO and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe, etc.)
  • Ability to plan, prepare, execute, and communicate strategies; communicate goals and expectations; and
  • Experience with project management, including planning, budget, scope, and timelines.
  • A basic understanding of WordPress and website platforms.
  • Video creation experience and editing capabilities preferred.
  • Desire to grow and develop skills related to content marketing and communications; have finger on the digital pulse of the hospice and healthcare industry, staying current with everchanging trends in digital marketing.
