Description
We are offering an opportunity to gradually expand your physiotherapy practice beyond day-to-day clinical work.
Are you ready to explore your broader contribution to the profession? If you are looking for a team that will value your strengths and actively supports your continued growth, you'll feel at home here. Leadership experience is valued, but not essential - we provide structured internal and external development to help you build confidence in this area. The role will be built around your skillset with room to step into or grow into leadership.
This role combines musculoskeletal physiotherapy practice with mentoring, leadership development and clear pathways for long-term career growth. You'll be joining a team that genuinely values learning and both personal and professional growth, and we look forward to learning from you. This is a role for someone who wants to help shape standards — not simply meet them.
Why This Role Is Different
- Dedicated Clinical Mentor position with protected mentoring and clinical systems development time
- We are not a high-throughput clinic. We offer 30, 45 and 60-minute consultations because complex clients deserve time - and clinicians deserve space to think.
- We love having Hypermobility presentations as part of our caseload. We provide extensive mentoring for staff to build a skillset in this area.
- Established referral network with respected local GPs and specialists
- Extensive, structured in-house training including weekly teaching (fundamentals and advanced skills), case discussions and mentoring.
- Clear progression pathway toward senior leadership and potential partnership
- High-quality, predominantly private caseload, genuinely a pleasure to treat
- Spacious consult rooms + large Pilates and strength & conditioning gym
- Clinic philosophy: benefit to client > business metrics
The Clinic
We are a well-established musculoskeletal practice with additional interests in hypermobility, clinical pilates, paediatrics and pelvic health.
Hypermobility is frequently underdiagnosed and underserved, yet clients are highly engaged and appreciative when provided with skilled, respectful care. Working in this area offers the opportunity to create meaningful, long-term change for people who genuinely value thoughtful physiotherapy. Experience in hypermobility is welcome but not essential.
Our approach is patient-centred and evidence-guided, combining exercise-based rehabilitation, education and hands-on therapy.
We are located on vibrant High St Northcote, surrounded by cafes, live music, boutique shopping, with excellent public transport (train + tram) and free onsite parking.
