Role Overview

Legend Biotech is seeking a Senior Director, Global Market Access & Pricing to lead global strategy for our commercial pipeline, including cell therapy and innovative biologics. This role will oversee integrated access and pricing strategies, anticipate global trends, and drive digital transformation, talent development, and value-based approaches across the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of global market access, pricing, and reimbursement strategies for Legend Biotech's commercial pipeline, including launch sequencing and lifecycle management.
• Oversee a team of market access professionals, fostering digital innovation, predictive analytics, and upskilling to address talent scarcity and evolving skill requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Clinical, HEOR, Policy, Public Affairs) to deliver robust value evidence packages and optimize patient access.
• Anticipate and respond to global market access and pricing trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities, leveraging insights from M&A, digital transformation, and scientific advancements.
• Develop payer value propositions and stakeholder engagement plans, integrating digital solutions and value-based contracting.
• Engage with HTA and payer organizations for early scientific advice, shaping clinical development and evidence generation strategies.
• Educate internal stakeholders and senior leaders on market access risks, opportunities, and strategic priorities.
• Manage consultants, vendor partnerships, and budgets to ensure cost-effective execution of key activities.

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience in global market access and pricing within pharmaceutical/biotech, with proven launch experience and success in integrated access strategies.
• Bachelor's degree required; post-graduate degree (MBA, Health Economics, Policy, etc.) preferred.
• Deep knowledge of global pricing, HTA, clinical development, payer organization methods, and policy frameworks.
• Experience with digital transformation, predictive analytics, and talent strategy in market access.
• Proven leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities.
• Regional and/or country-level market access experience, including knowledge of EU HTA centralization.
• Track record of building market access and pricing capabilities, mentoring teams, and driving performance.
• Experience in cell therapy, oncology, or rare diseases, and with innovative pricing/reimbursement models.
