RosmanSearch has partnered with the Pediatric Neurology Division at Hasbro Children’s Hospital, an affiliated hospital of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, to welcome additional Epileptologists to their growing program. Candidates of all experience levels, including new graduates, are encouraged to apply. For experienced candidates with leadership interests, the division is seeking a Director of Pediatric Epilepsy to lead their multidisciplinary Pediatric Epilepsy Program, including medical and surgical epilepsy services. Epilepsy subspecialists with surgical experience and those interested in general child neurology cases will be well-supported.
Hasbro Children’s Neurology is part of the Brown Neuroscience Institute and works across institutional and disciplinary boundaries to advance neurological care in pediatrics. The division provides comprehensive care and innovative treatments to pediatric and young adult patients who have conditions such as epilepsy, headaches, movement disorders, brain injuries, fetal neonatal neurology, autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, spasticity, and muscular dystrophies. Neurologists in the division also collaborate with Hasbro Children’s experts in other specialties, such as pediatric rehabilitation, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, genetics and behavior and development.
Hasbro Children's Hospital is the premier pediatric facility in southeastern New England and serves as a teaching hospital for Brown University's medical school. It has been named as a top 30 children's hospital in Parents magazine and houses the pediatric division of Rhode Island Hospital and Brown University Health.

Epilepsy Highlights:
- Team (by Summer 2026): 3 pediatric epileptologists + 1 per diem epileptologist (recruit to aim 4-5 epileptologists), 5 general child neurologists, 1 fetal neonatal neurologist, 1 pediatric neuroimmunologist, 2 APPs, 15 EEG technologists, 3 supervisor/lead EEG technologists, program coordinator, social work, neuropsychology, dietitian (ketogenic diet)
- Available EEG and Epilepsy volume, building to ~70% Epilepsy practice
- Annual volumes: EMU (2 dedicated beds): ~200 studies/year, EEG lab: 880 inpatient studies/year, Outpatient: 1,300 outpatient studies/year.

Epilepsy Director Highlights:
The Director will provide clinical leadership, grow program capabilities, standardize pre-surgical evaluation, advance quality and safety, and strengthen education, research, and community outreach. This role is ideal for a clinician-leader who enjoys hands-on program building in a mid-size academic/teaching environment.
Key Responsibilities --
Lead medical and surgical epilepsy workflow and further expansion of the program, including case selection conferences, presurgical evaluations, and post-op follow-up. The program has potential of further growth. The leadership to organize and facilitate epilepsy surgery workflow is needed.
Represent Pediatric Epilepsy Program at monthly multidisciplinary Epilepsy Surgery Conference (Pediatric and Adult Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuroradiology, Neuropsychology, Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, Nursing, Social Work).
Oversee and collaborate with the EMU (pediatric epilepsy monitoring unit), ensuring appropriate utilization, safety, and throughput.
Teach and mentor residents (Pediatrics/Neurology), fellows /epilepsy), EEG technologists, nurses, and allied professionals.
