Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services is a product group focused on the management and provision of Cash Management, Trade Finance, and Securities & Fiduciary products and services to institutional clients.

DBS aspires to be recognized by clients and competitors as one of the top GTS providers in its key markets. This is achieved through an ongoing process of efficiently matching clients' changing business requirements with product capabilities.

Job Purpose:

In this role, you will be part of the Group Collections, Platform Services and Product Controls team that is responsible for driving business development and solutioning for innovative and scalable client propositions. You will be focusing specifically on the development of merchant solutions business as well as product risk management across the region.

You will be responsible for driving the product development and delivery of merchant solutions, which includes ownership of product requirements and prioritisation of enhancements in line with the regional product roadmap.

In addition, you will also be driving the implementation and governance of the product risk framework for Cash Management across the region to ensure that respective product guides and controls are continually updated and sharpened.

Key Accountabilities:

Product Development:

• Identify user requirements and features to deliver superior client journeys as part of product development roadmap.
• Drive product development and delivery i.e. own product requirements and prioritization of enhancements for the merchant solutions business across the region; plan rollouts in a synergistic way across applicable markets to ensure timely delivery of regional product roadmap.
• Work closely with Technology and Design teams to evaluate if current product is fit for purpose, and to deliver new features from ideation to production where required
• Identify and operationalise areas of optimisation with regards to ease and speed of client implementation.
• Design intuitive merchant collections journeys and continuously improve merchant experience. Anticipate operational impact (including implementation) and have tight governance of new features and address issues early in development.

Business Development:

• Achieve growth targets and business metrics identified for Merchant Solutions across the region.
• Collaborate with client owners on solutioning of digital client journeys incorporating Merchant Solutions and other adjacent transactional products and capabilities, to address clients' needs.
• Collaborate with commercialisation lead to better position Merchant Solutions in line with each market's nuances and identify new areas of growth for the business.

Product Governance:

• Drive the implementation and governance of product risk framework for Cash Management across the region.
• Work with group and location product managers to continuously sharpen product guidance and provide a refresher on established controls.

Candidate Requirements:

• 8 to 10 years of experience in product management, preferably in payments, merchant solutions or cash management.
• Proven track record in developing and launching digital products end-to-
• Regional experience working with multiple markets is a strong advantage.
• Experience in stakeholder management across business, technology, design, and operations teams.
• Exposure to product risk, controls or governance frameworks (ideal but not mandatory if the candidate has strong product discipline).
