About UsGreen Link Digital Bank is Singapore's inaugural wholesale digital bank focusing on supply chain finance, mainly serving MSMEs and aiming to help MSMEs grow and improve digitization.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated professional to join our Structured Finance unit. Reporting to the Head of Structured Finance, the successful candidate will play a key role in origination, structuring, and syndication of private credit and high-yield transactions, with a focus on mid-cap corporates across APAC.
Responsibilities
Origination & Client Coverage
- Identify and originate financing opportunities in the private credit and high-yield markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with mid-cap borrowers, private equity sponsors, private credit funds, and other market participants.
- Develop a consistent deal pipeline aligned with the bank's strategy and risk appetite.
Structuring & Transaction Management
- Lead the structuring of private credit and special situation solutions, including senior secured loans, mezzanine financing, bridge financing, and other high-yield structures.
- Prepare and negotiate indicative terms, credit proposals, financial models, and transaction documentation.
- Drive internal transaction approval processes through clear, well-reasoned credit submissions.
Syndication & Distribution
- Lead the distribution approach for each transaction, including bilateral placements, club formation, and selective sell-downs.
- Conduct focused outreach to partner banks and private credit lenders to gauge appetite and shape optimal transaction structure and economics.
- Coordinate information flow and lender engagement to support timely participation and smooth execution.
- Maintain and expand a network of lending partners to enable efficient club formation and enhance overall transaction outcomes.
Market & Portfolio Insights
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing benchmarks, sector developments, and investor appetite.
- Provide strategic insights to senior management on competitive dynamics and new origination opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline; postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
- Minimally 7 years of relevant experience in leveraged finance, private credit, DCM, structured lending, loan trading, or related fields within a bank, credit fund, or investment institution.
- Proven track record of originating or executing private credit or syndicated financing transactions.
- Strong understanding of loan structuring principles, credit analysis, and execution process.
- Established network with sponsors, corporates, and financial intermediaries. Skills & Competencies.
- Excellent credit assessment, financial modelling, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and teamwork.
- Business and result oriented.
