Description
Description
The Yale Center for Environmental Justice (YCEJ), a center spanning Yale’s Schools of Law and Environment, invites applications for dynamic and experienced attorneys to work with the Collaborative Clinic for Nonprofit Viability (CCNV).
CCNV is a collaborative initiative designed to support the existence and effectiveness of the community groups, grassroots organizations, and nonprofits that make up the backbone of indigenous and grassroots environmental organizations. CCNV is a collaborative of multiple law schools and community-based organizations housed within the Yale Center for Environmental Justice—a joint initiative at Yale of the Law School (YLS), the School of the Environment (YSE), and the Center for the Study of Race, Indigeneity, and Transnational Migration (RITM). The position will hold an appointment as an Associate Research Scholar in YSE and as a Visiting Clinical Lecturer at YLS. In the early stages, the positions will be working primarily in the context of Yale Law School, Howard University’s Law School and other law schools joining soon.
Successful applicants will join a team of scholars, practicing attorneys, and non-profit leaders who lead the clinic's strategic planning, curricular development, and team-based student supervision model. We seek colleagues who are eager to contribute to the law clinic program and bring senior-level non-profit organizations and transactions expertise to our students and community. The positions are initially part-time with the possibility of extension to full-time within the year.
