What You Will Do:
- Develop effective regulatory strategies and navigate requisite regulatory processes in respect of regulatory submissions and hearings. This includes motivating and leading cross functional teams in the development of strategy, risk assessments, project plans, and timely regulatory submissions.
- Ensure that the regulatory advice provided aligns with Enbridge corporate strategy, goals and values
- Coordinate regulatory hearing processes including providing support to Law at formal hearings, collaborating with Law on strategy development and identifying and preparing witnesses, acting as witness panel support during hearings, and managing undertakings.
- Achieve favourable and timely approvals with minimal conditions and risks to schedule, scope, and cost, while demonstrating compliance and upholding Enbridge's values of safety, integrity, respect, and inclusion.
- Build support and inspire others by developing collaborative relationships (internal and external), including with regulatory agency staff and team members to understand strategy, resolve any outstanding matters on projects and facilitate regulatory approvals.
- Make sound and timely decisions and ensure project applications; notifications and other essential regulatory correspondence are strategically framed, internally consistent, and meet regulatory information requirements.
- Provide internal training on regulatory matters within the organization and represent Enbridge Gas at meetings with various stakeholders such as customers, government bodies, industry organizations and other interested parties to ensure that Enbridge Gas's interests are put forward, if required.
- Stay current on regulatory initiatives, emerging trends, regulatory decisions and policies, and best practices related to regulation of Enbridge Gas facilities and Ontario's Energy transition.
Who You Are:
- University degree preferably in Business/Commerce, Science or Engineering.
- Six (6) or more years of directly related experience (e.g. with a regulated utility, regulatory agency, government or appropriate oil and gas experience)
- Experience with and knowledge of natural gas markets, pipeline system operations and facilities, facility project development/planning/execution, energy efficiency technologies, and/or Demand Side Management programming considered an asset.
- Significant experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Strong planning, analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel to other EGI offices and/or the Ontario Energy Board office (Toronto) on occasion.
Working Conditions:
- This position typically operates in an office work environment with around 10% travel.
- There will be some overtime requirement in the evening and/or weekends for the time-sensitive projects.

Ontario Location:
- Salary range is $94,500 to $135,000 CAD. Salary will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity.
