Description
Job Summary: The Program Manager is a part-time role, responsible for growing the Wings mission and increasing our community impact by creating an inviting, fun, safe, and energizing atmosphere for the Wings Social Club Members.
Culture and Mission: Commitment to our mission, vision, values and passion for individuals with developmental disabilities. Ability to recruit, lead and work alongside volunteers
Responsibilities:
- Oversee 1-2 weekend Social Club events per month onsite at Wings
- Recruit, on-board, train, and oversee Teen Board participants
- Organize and maintain bi-monthly Social Club registration process
- Coordinate Teen Board and adult Volunteer coverage for each Social Club within ratios based on projected attendance
- Secure sponsors for each Social Club event
- Monitor background check documentation for all Social Club Members, as well as HTSs
- Ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and followed by Teen Board, Volunteers, and Social Club Members
- Ability to maintain professional working relationships with staff, Members, families, and Teen Board, and Volunteers
- Support the strategic goals of the Wings organization
- All other duties as may be assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Organized, attention to detail, flexible and adaptable
- Leadership and communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work and plan independently
- Comfortable leading, as well as being a team player
Requirements
Requirements:
- Ability to work some days during the week, as well as evenings and weekends to run Social Club
- Completion of continued education training (offered by organization)
- Ability to work with and empower volunteers to increase capacity
- Meet physical requirements to safely perform assigned duties
- Ability to drive 15-passenger van
