McInnes Cooper is seeking a Senior Manager, Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility (IDEA) to lead the development and execution of a firm-wide IDEA strategy that will foster an inclusive culture, integrate IDEA across talent and business strategy, and enhance the firm's reputation as an employer and advisor of choice. Reporting to the Managing Director, People & Culture, this is a high-impact role that combines strategic advisory with hands-on implementation, shaping inclusion across one of Atlantic Canada’s most respected law firms.
In this role, you will design and implement an IDEA strategy that aligns with the firm’s priorities and supports both lawyers and professional staff. This includes conducting diagnostic assessments, establishing metrics and governance frameworks, and integrating IDEA into talent processes and business operations. You will partner closely with leadership and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to advance inclusion, foster engagement, and support meaningful cultural change.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in IDEA, strong business acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively across a multi-office environment. You are a confident facilitator and advisor, capable of engaging senior leaders and diverse stakeholders, with a proven track record of designing and implementing IDEA programs that create lasting impact.
