An industry leading organisation is seeking a technically strong Senior Finance Manager to enhance financial governance, assurance and oversight across a diverse portfolio. This is a fixed term opportunity within a high-performing Group Financial Controls function, partnering closely with senior finance and commercial leaders.
Your new role
Reporting to Senior Group Finance leadership, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening financial integrity and control. Responsibilities include:
Providing expert oversight of financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysisReviewing and challenging assumptions to ensure accuracy, discipline and transparency
Identifying and managing financial risks, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution
Supporting capital requests, growth initiatives and investment governance
Driving continuous improvement across financial controls, reporting processes and compliance
Offering technical guidance to Finance Managers and business stakeholders to uplift capability and consistency

What you'll need to succeed
Experience & Technical Skills:

• Extensive experience in senior financial accounting, financial control or commercial finance roles - ideally a combination of Big 4 and commercial experience
• Strong technical accounting expertise, including budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
• Proven ability to identify, assess and mitigate financial risk
• CA or CPA qualification preferred
• Demonstrated experience improving controls, governance and financial processes in complex environments
