About the Role:
We're looking for a Senior Director, Integrated Evidence Planning (IEP) Lead - Respiratory to help us expand what's possible for patients with serious diseases. Reporting to the Global Medical Affairs Head, Respiratory the Senior Director, IEP Lead defines and delivers the global evidence strategy, integrating clinical, real-world, and economic insights to meet the needs of patients, regulators, and payers.
This leader will ensure evidence generation drives both scientific credibility and commercial value, partnering across Medical, Development, and Access to shape asset and therapeutic area success.
What You'll Do:
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to build and execute global program IEP strategies for the therapeutic area and inform lifecycle decisions and access strategy. You'll also:
- Develop and lead the implementation of evidence strategies, and ensure the evidence strategy is aligned, robust, evidence-based, and impactful.
- Collaborate and align with Medical Directors and Access across the Respiratory portfolio.
- Engage regularly with HCPs, patients, payers, and regulators to shape evidence priorities.
- Align cross-functional teams globally, drive quality, and synchronize evidence communication.
- Reinforce scientific reputation via thought leadership, publications, and academic engagement.
- Partner with internal stakeholders on research strategies, tactics and outcomes, and translate research methodology to diverse audiences.
- Track and report performance using defined KPIs and ROI to measure evidence effectiveness.
- Translate insights into strategy, providing actionable recommendations to therapeutic area and senior leadership.
- Embed evidence excellence across medical and commercial teams to drive integrated impact.
Who You Are:
You must have an advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, MPH, MS) in life sciences or related field and 10+ years in biopharma with 3+ years in management. Additionally, you have:
- Experience with evidence generation, market access, HEOR, and/or RWE.
- Expertise in late-stage clinical design, RWE, and patient-centered evidence generation.
- Deep understanding of payer, HTA, and reimbursement landscapes.
- Strong methodological foundation (epidemiology, HEOR, data analytics).
- Skilled at leading diverse, cross-functional teams without direct reports.
- Track record of turning complex data into clear, high-impact strategic insights.
- Experience developing a strategic vision by integrating needs of diverse stakeholders, scientific considerations, and market knowledge.
Where You'll Work
This can be a fully remote role because the selected candidate should be able to perform effectively from anywhere while staying connected to your Insmed team and community. Occasional travel for team meetings or events will be expected.
Alternatively, if you live within a drivable distance of our Bridgewater, NJ facilities, you'll have the option to work remotely most of the time, but with more in-person collaboration when it matters most.

This position involves frequent domestic and international travel (up to 20%).

Pay Range:
$222,000.00-303,000.00 Annual
