A day in the life.
As our Senior Private Client Advisor on theCommercial Lines Business Solutions team, you'll successfully support a high volume book of business to our clientele and work alongside tenured colleagues to gain experience and skill sets for professional growth:
- Assess clients' exposures, loss history and current coverages; recommend tailored insurance and risk-management solutions using accurate market data, specialty/PCS options and surplus lines when needed.
- Provide proactive, responsive client service (in person, phone, email), gather risk-tolerance information, obtain quotes, and communicate binding instructions to carriers.
- Manage renewals and conduct annual face-to-face advisory reviews; maintain accurate account records in the Agency Management System, ensure regulatory compliance, and keep policy/binder documentation accurate.
- Drive new business and retention by cultivating relationships and referrals, negotiating with multiple carriers for comprehensive coverage, and escalating service issues to prevent client impact.

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
- Property & Casualty (P&C) License
- Strong Commercial Lines Background
- Client facing experience
- Client service orientation with balance on managing expectations
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to adhere to policies, practices & procedures
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong technical and computer skills (MS Office tools, etc.)
- Flexibility to travel in the surrounding local area as client and company needs require
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
- Bachelor's degree
- Professional designations a plus, e.g. CPCU, CIC, CPRIA, etc.
- Previous experience with an Agency Management System such as Epic
- Key relationships with both Admitted & Excess & Surplus markets
