Description
Reproduction position available commencing 2026
Do you have an interest in small animal reproduction? Would you be keen to work, learn and sit your ANZCVS memberships in animal reproduction in 2027?
We have a position that encompasses general practice and specialist small animal reproduction, commencing in 2026. It’s the best of both worlds; you get to see lots of variety in SA practice as well as high level reproduction. You will be mentored by Dr Scott Norman. Scott is a Diplomate of the American College of Theriogenologists, holds a PhD in Reproduction and is a Registered Specialist in Reproduction.
Kallangur Veterinary Surgery provides specialist level services to breeders including oestrus timing, transcervical insemination (fresh, chilled and frozen), semen collection for freezing, infertility (male & female) workups and medical treatment for pyometra and caesareans, (plenty of caesareans!) and almost anything else that’s repro related. We also accept referrals from veterinarians in Queensland and northern New South Wales. We have a great, skilled and friendly team of repro nurses that assist with procedures and consultations.
The position requires a vet with a keen interest in small animal reproduction and can be permanent or take the form of an internship.
Contact the practice manager Kym or Dr Scott Norman for any information about the position on (07) 3204 4332
