- Project Architect
Description
In this role, you will contribute to the full design and delivery process, supporting the development of thoughtful, highquality architectural solutions. You will collaborate closely with project leaders, designers, technical staff, and external partners to advance project goals and uphold strong design and documentation standards. Your work will span conceptual design through construction documents, including technical detailing, coordination, site observations, and research-informed planning. You will also engage directly with clients and consultants, representing the firm with professionalism and design clarity.

Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of design concepts, technical solutions, and project documentation
Collaborate with principals, project managers, designers, and technical staff across all project phases
Produce drawings, details, and models that support design intent and technical accuracy
Coordinate with consultants and assist in integrating structural, MEP, and specialty systems
Support quality control through careful documentation, review, and adherence to standards
Conduct site visits, field measurements, and existing-conditions assessments
Assist with project research, including codes, materials, cost benchmarks, and precedents
Participate in client and stakeholder meetings, helping communicate design ideas and project updates
Travel as needed for site review, documentation, and client engagement
Requirements
Professional degree in architecture or preservation; architectural registration preferred
5–10+ years of architectural experience, including design and technical development
Strong design sensibility and solid understanding of building systems and construction methods
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office
Collaborative, detail-oriented, and adaptable team member
Ability to make sound design and technical decisions based on experience and research
Experience with education, renovation, or preservation projects is desirable
