Summary: This is an hourly position responsible for answering the phone and door during business hours, connecting clients with advocates, and providing office support.
Supervisor: Operations Director
Pay Range: $20.50/hour. Employees are eligible for life insurance, retirement with 6% employer contribution after one year of employment, vacation, and sick/wellness leave. Employees who work less than 30 hours are not eligible for health, vision, and dental insurance.
General Schedule: Hourly (20 hours/week) and nonexempt position. Schedule would be Monday-Thursday 12:45-5:00pm and Friday 1:00-4:00pm. Temporary increases in hours do not affect part-time status or health insurance eligibility.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
Serve as the initial contact for the 24-hour crisis line during business hours.
Answer the phone and front door, greeting clients and guests.
Assist advocates with fulfilling client needs, such as coordination of transportation, and copies of documents.
Assemble victim rights packets and sexual assault packets and coordinate delivery/hand off with partners
Distribute mail to employee and client mailboxes.
Management of office tasks such as inventory and ordering of office supplies
Upkeep of common workspaces such the lobby, kitchen, intake space, conference room, etc.
Accept and track in-kind donations
Assist the Stewardship and Volunteer Manager with volunteer communication and task delegation as needed
Coordinate with Program Support Coordinator to ensure the front desk coverage and overlapping duties are completed.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
Ability to understand and maintain strict adherence to confidentiality, safety procedures, and advocate privilege
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to balance and manage multiple priorities
Ability to navigate situations that may have personal and professional conflict
Clear, effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to set boundaries, communicate expectations, and navigate conflict with care
Commitment to provide dignified and trauma-informed interactions in a setting that can be unpredictable and active
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with other community-based services and systems professionals
Ability to work both independently and in small team settings. Comfortable taking initiative but also committed to sharing information and working well in a team
Ability to interact with and learn database systems and other computer programs.
Ability to perform physical labor, lift heavy objects, and move furniture as needed
Possess a valid Montana driver’s license and automobile liability insurance
Successful federal fingerprint background check is required
