Unique Opportunity for a PY Planner
Are you looking to build your career in Financial Planning with a highly regarded local practice?
We are a Franchisee of a National Financial Planning company currently seeking our next hire. Our Senior Planner has more leads and clients than she can service on her own and we need someone to help increase her capacity.
We are now looking for a PY planner to join our team and help us take things to the next level.
We are currently an all female team offering great Financial Advice to the Macarthur area. We do things a little different and are looking for the next person to add to our team. We seek someone who is self driven and fits our culture and will live and breather our values.

This role is unique in that we have an existing book of clients ready to go and there is a long term growth strategy with plenty of new leads. We have a natural career progression and we are looking for a someone who wants to build their career and future with us.
Reporting to the Senior Financial Planner, you must be goal-oriented, proactive and pursue excellence. You will possess strong communication and administrative skills. Client service skills must be A grade.
We have full back office support including paraplanning and client services. The Planner is committed to helping mentor the planner to help them develop their career in Financial Planning.
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
Provide support to the Senior Financial Planner to help free up her capacity. This will involve various tasks such as file notes, follow-up and research.
Help actively service an existing client base and provide high quality advice to clients in a legally compliant manner.
FASEA completion must be achieved within 6 months of commencement to ensure legally compliant advice delivery.
Ensure all client data is accurate, and up to date and loaded as per the licensee and business requirements.
Research new clients and help complete the licensee required information.
Liaise with the Senior Planner to develop appropriate strategies and advice according to the clients current situation and future lifestyle goals and objectives.
Ensure all final documented advice is accurate prior to presentation to the client and/or prospective client.
Help Conduct the Plan Presentation and Client Review Appointments according to our processes.
Ensure the paraplanner has the information and documentation needed to produce plans. There may be some SOA production included as well.
Assist the Paraplanner and Client Services Manager with tasks as required.
Maintain technical knowledge of products and trends in financial planning.
Undertake ongoing training to remain skilled in the use of software (financial planning software).
Ensure your Training Plan objectives and requirements are met including Kaplan online training, PD days and Annual Conference attendance and other training as required.
Attend and participate in staff meetings.
Other duties, related to financial planning activities, as required.

A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business is required to meet the educational qualifications for this role.
Some experience in financial planning in a client services or paraplanning role will be highly regarded.
Strong communication and organisational skills. You need to be able to prioritise.
You need to be able to work in a high paced environment and juggle multiple tasks and client needs at one time.
Team Player essential.
Able to build strong, open and collaborative working relationships.
Valid Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
Able to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional manner, maintaining discretion and strict confidentiality.
