Description
Our client is a US based manufacturer of high-quality material handling equipment/solutions seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Product Engineer.
This person will design and develop new products and enhancements to existing products using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, collaborate with sales and customers to translate application requirements into effective product solutions, generate drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation for production, participate in design reviews, prototyping, and product testing, and more.
Requirements:
- Must live in the Milwaukee, WI area.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- 4+ years of product development or mechanical design experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and 2D drafting tools (AutoCAD).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weldments, and structural drawings.
- Understanding of steel fabrication processes and material handling equipment is a plus.
