Physiotherapist Position Available - Locum/Maternity Leave

• Start: April / May 2026, flexible hours

Tidal Physiotherapy & Pilates is seeking a motivated and personable Physiotherapist to join our coastal private practice team for a 6–12 month maternity leave position, commencing around April/May 2026.

Located in beautiful Malua Bay on the NSW South Coast, our clinic offers a supportive, collaborative environment with a strong focus on high-quality, individualised care. We have a great referral network with local GP’s, excellent word-of-mouth referrals and flexibility for work-life balance to enjoy all the coast has to offer.

About the Role

This role involves working with a varied caseload of primarily musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions in a private practice setting, with the opportunity to integrate Reformer Pilates into treatment and exercise-based rehabilitation. You will be working independently, within a multidisciplinary practice. The treatment structure is based on 1 on 1 care and small group exercise. This role is great for an experienced physiotherapist with at least 2 years experience in private practice. Skills in acupuncture/dry needling and reformer pilates is preferred.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a qualified and AHPRA-registered Physiotherapist
• Have experience working in private practice
• Be confident managing musculoskeletal and orthopaedic presentations
• Be able to teach Reformer Pilates (experience preferred)
• Have excellent communication and clinical reasoning skills
• Be a team player who values patient-centred care
• Postgraduate training or certification in acupuncture and/or dry needling is highly regarded
• Competency with online scheduling and electronic health records
