Permanent, Part-Time Payroll/HR support role in the Eastern Suburbs Your new companyA respected organisation within the services and infrastructure sector is seeking an experienced and proactive Payroll/HR Administrator to join its growing team. With a strong focus on innovation, safety and service excellence, this organisation offers a supportive environment where your contribution truly matters.
Your new role
You will play a key role in delivering end-to-end payroll support and broad HR administration for approximately 200 employees across multiple business entities. This varied position suits both candidates who are building their careers in HR, Payroll or Finance, as well as those who excel in administrative support and are seeking stability and long-term growth.Key responsibilities include:
Payroll
Coordinating, collating and verifying timesheets
Processing fortnightly payroll
Preparing statutory and compliance reports including PAYG, superannuation, STP, leave liability and payroll tax
HR Administration
Supporting HR reporting, documentation and compliance
Assisting with recruitment, including screening, reference checks and contract preparation
Coordinating onboarding for employees and contractors
Maintaining regular compliance reminders (visa, probation, annual reviews)
Contributing to projects, policy updates and award reviews
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in Payroll
- Pronto system experience (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and proven organisational ability
- Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
