Accounts Receivable Specialist (Shared Services)

Your new company

You will be joining a world-class manufacturing and logistics organization that is currently undergoing an exciting transformation. As they establish a brand-new Shared Service Centre (SSC) in Malaysia, they are looking for founding members to help drive the finance operations for the region, covering Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Your new role

Reporting directly to the Regional Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the Accounts Receivable function. Your core focus will be on managing collections, reporting, and performing in-depth analysis on AR data. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing end-to-end AR processes, moving towards a centralized model.
• Conducting credit evaluations and issuing invoices as the transition progresses.
• Collaborating with Customer Care to ensure seamless billing operations.
• Liaising with international stakeholders, including occasional meetings with the UK team (1-2 times per month).
• Supporting the migration and utilization of Microsoft Dynamics 365.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience: At least 3-5 years of solid experience in Accounts Receivable, specifically within a Shared Service Centre (SSC) environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems-experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a significant advantage.
• Mindset: You must be a forward-thinking professional with a KPI-oriented approach to your work.
