Medico-Legal Occupational Therapist – Senior Clinicians
Interface is a specialist medico-legal occupational therapy consultancy seeking experienced Occupational Therapists interested in developing expertise in medico-legal practice.

Medico-legal Occupational Therapists assess functional capacity and care needs in the context of personal injury, compensation, and dust disease matters. The role applies advanced clinical reasoning, functional assessment, and evidence-based opinion writing within legal frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Medico-legal functional and care needs assessments
• Home-based assessments 
• Review and analysis of medical and allied health records
• Preparation of structured, evidence-based reports
• Professional liaison with legal and insurance stakeholders

Selection Criteria

• Minimum 8 years post-graduate OT experience
• Strong clinical reasoning and analytical skills
• High-level written and verbal communication
• Interest in medico-legal practice and professional development
• Capacity to undertake community and home visits
• Previous medico-legal experience is not required. Comprehensive training and mentoring are provided.
