- Occ Therapy Consultant
Description
1. Perform occupational therapy assessment to include evaluation of visual motor perception, fine motor dexterity, eye-hand coordination and self-help development. This assessment shall be completed within 14 days of admission and annually thereafter.
2. Upon request, assess the resident to determine the extent to which prosthetic, orthotic, corrective and mechanical supportive devices can improve the resident’s functional capability. Such evaluation shall be completed within 14 days of request.
3. With the interdisciplinary team, develop ISP objective related occupational therapy activities.
4. Provide a “data sheet” for each objective accepted by the ID Team, or coordinate with QIDP on the creation.
5. Complete annual evaluation and/or assessment of clients’ progress in ISP OT programs.
