Schedule: Full time, Days, 20 hours weekly between Monday – Friday

Job Description:
- Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policy and procedures.
- Participates in marketing to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships.
- Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.
- Participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships.
- Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community.
- Adjusts and adapts to changes in patient census by altering working hours to assist in other centers and programs as approved and observed by the manager or director.
- Practices principles of professional development by maintaining clinical competencies, using best and/or evidence-based practices, and serving as a clinical instructor.
- Oversees the care provided by physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides, according to established regulations and practice standards.
- Participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department.
- Maintains productivity standards as defined by the department, through effective time management and clinical efficiency and adjusts work hours to meet the needs of the patients as required.
- Determines physical therapy diagnosis and establishes a plan of care, making recommendations for referral if treatment is needed outside the scope of physical therapist practice.
- Designs and implements treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards, recommended techniques, modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.
- Assesses patient ability to safely and effectively perform functional mobility skills and evaluates muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems.
- Monitors patient response and progress to treatment, modifying the treatment plan as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Doctorate
- Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) – RQI Resuscitation
- Quality Improvement, Physical Therapist (PT) – EV Accredited Issuing Body, Physical Therapist – Temporary (PT-TEMP) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range:
$65,622.66 – $122,055.21
