Position Description:
The University of Louisville (UofL) seeks a highly motivated, self-directed Manager, Recruiting to join a multi-million dollar two-year workforce certificate grant. The grant, funded by the National Cybersecurity for Academic Excellence (NCAE), is a subaward via our coalition partner, the University of West Florida. This subaward aims to build upon our professional workforce certificate programs, targeting individuals, corporations, military veterans, and first responders, to upskill and reskill the workforce in cybersecurity. The Cybersecurity Certificate workforce program is comprised of 3 levels of curriculum (Explore, Practitioner, and Professional), incorporating technology industry badges (Google, Microsoft, IBM). It is an online/asynchronous instructor-facilitated online module system. The Recruiting Placement Manager will develop and execute the work to meet the enrollment and job placement goals for the Cybersecurity Certificate program.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience with multi-year projects, specifically in sales/ recruiting for adult workforce upskilling/re-skilling. Responsibilities will include representing the University of Louisville while developing a comprehensive system to reach potential program candidates in innovative ways, and successfully guiding participants through the program, with the goal of placing approximately 20 participants per year in jobs.
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position that will continue through September 2027 (100% grant-funded), contingent upon departmental need, staff performance, and grant/contract funding.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish and execute strategies for recruiting program participants into education pathways and job placements (min. of 20 placements/year).
- Coordinate communication and management efforts to ensure participants' professional and personal success, including troubleshooting program issues and arranging job placements.
- Regularly keep in contact with all members of the grant both in and outside of marketing and recruiting efforts to facilitate smooth transitions and overall program success.
- Maintain records database of productivity and prospecting information.
- Manage a full-time recruiter and a full-time marketing person in these efforts.

Additional information:
Hybrid in-office/remote. May require minimal travel to community events when applicable.
Target Compensation Maximum:
$89,483.00
Target Compensation Minimum:
$59,655.00
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
