As a Software Engineer IV, you will lead teams in building trusted, market-leading technology products that make a real impact. Join us to grow your expertise, mentor others, and help shape the future of Asset & Wealth Management technology.As a Software Engineer IV in Asset & Wealth Management, you will lead agile teams in designing and delivering technology solutions that are secure, stable, and scalable. You will drive critical projects across multiple technical domains and business functions, directly supporting our strategic objectives. You will foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and technical excellence, while mentoring junior engineers and championing best practices. Your leadership will help us deliver high-quality products and advance our technology strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex software solutions
- Develop secure, high-quality production code and maintain sophisticated algorithms
- Create architecture and design artifacts for large-scale applications
- Identify and resolve systemic issues, leveraging data insights to drive improvements
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical growth and best practices
- Champion software engineering communities of practice and lead technology initiatives
- Promote a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Java (17+) and expertise in Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
- Extensive hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proven track record in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in large corporate environments
- Expertise in modern programming languages and database querying
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
- Demonstrated leadership in technical disciplines such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and mobile technologies
- Experience influencing technical direction and strategy across teams or projects
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Strong familiarity with modern technologies and frameworks
- Significant exposure to cloud technologies and architectures
- Experience leading cross-functional teams or projects
- Interest in financial services
