Your role

Pictet is seeking to recruit an Investment Manager to work in the Multi Asset HK team of Pictet Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited.

The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in investment management. A background in multi asset strategy is needed, but specific domain expertise and the ability to extend such knowhow into other parts of investing is preferred. The role requires a deep understanding of risk, global financial markets, asset allocation, and bottom-up fundamentals. An ability to bridge different disciplines is highly valued. Multiple languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management:
  • Develop, implement, and manage multi asset strategies.
  • Monitor and rebalance portfolios.
  • Conduct performance analysis and attribution studies.
• Investment Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct research and analysis across capital structures and geographies.
  • Stay on top of top-down and bottom-up developments.
  • Evaluate and recommend investment products, strategies, securities, and solutions.
• Risk Management
  • Understand risk - both taking and managing it.
  • Ensure compliance.
• Client Relationship Management:
  • Collaborate with clients on investment goals, risk appetite, and constraints.
  • Prepare and deliver portfolio reviews, performance reports, and market updates.
  • Provide thought leadership and insights to clients.
• Collaboration and Leadership:
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver comprehensive investment solutions.

Your profile

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications: CFA, FRM or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Experience: 10-15 years of experience in investment management, with a focus on multi-asset strategies.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of asset allocation, portfolio construction, and risk management principles.
  • Ability to do qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Experience in DM and EM coverage.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and investment research tools.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Critical thinking.
  • Self initiative in problem solving.
• Other Requirements:
  • Strong track record of delivering consistent investment performance.
  • Proven ability in building customized solutions.
