A leading European investment platform focused on late-stage technology opportunities is seeking a Director to join its senior investment team in Milan. The firm is in an advanced phase of launching deploying its second vehicle, offering a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing platform at a pivotal moment.

This is a senior leadership role for an experienced investment professional with a strong background in growth equity, venture capital, and technology investing. The role combines deal origination, execution, portfolio management, exits, fundraising, and team leadership , working closely with the firm's founding partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and execute investments in high-growth technology companies
• Lead transactions end-to-end, from origination through due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and investment committee presentation
• Oversee portfolio management, value creation initiatives, and exit processes
• Act as a key contact for portfolio companies, founders, and co-investors
• Support fundraising efforts and ongoing investor relations
• Mentor and manage investment professionals as the team scales

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of relevant experience in growth equity, VC, PE, or tech-focused investment banking with buy-side exposure
• Proven track record across the full investment lifecycle
• Strong deal origination capabilities and professional network
• Excellent financial, valuation, and transaction execution skills
• Entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset with strong ownership and judgment

Education

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field
• MBA or equivalent from a leading international institution is a plus
