Position_Description :
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized shop and storage areas.
- Create, maintain, and manage accurate inventory lists and tracking systems.
- Organize and reorganize shelving and storage layouts to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
- Utilize purchase order logs and historical usage data to establish inventory levels and develop minimum and maximum thresholds for stocked items.
- Log all inbound and outbound materials accurately and notify impacted personnel of inventory movements.
- Coordinate with vendors to establish regular delivery schedules and manage one-off or emergency deliveries.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure a smooth and reliable inventory process.
- Order, receive, and return parts and materials as needed.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels at remote jobsites in coordination with onsite mechanics and jobsite personnel.
- Conduct weekly checks of shop maintenance items and consumable supplies, including bulk oils and related materials.
- Operate a company vehicle to pick up and deliver parts, materials, and supplies as needed.
- Perform other duties and assignments to support the shop as needed.

- Experience in inventory management, preferably in a construction, heavy equipment/diesel mechanic repair shop, or industrial environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple departments and jobsite personnel.
- Familiarity with purchase orders, inventory tracking systems, and vendor coordination.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
- Ability to lift and move materials consistent with shop and jobsite requirements.
