Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver professional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele, largely in the population of Medicaid clients with intellectual & physical disabilities. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and exceptional patient care. Most massage services are home-based, so you likely will be asked to drive 15-20 minutes to clients' homes within your nearby geographic region. Requirements

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to client needs
Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current conditions, and treatment goals
Develop customized treatment plans that address pain management, muscle tension, and occupational health concerns
Maintain clear communication with clients about their progress, treatment options, and aftercare instructions
Ensure all treatments adhere to safety standards, hygiene protocols, and licensing regulations
Keep detailed records of patient treatments, progress notes, and relevant medical information using appropriate terminology
Stay informed about the latest developments in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to enhance service quality
Skills

Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills
Expertise in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy for effective pain relief
Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
Familiarity with working with the DD (developmental disability) population & a talent for therapeutic interaction with children is preferred
Excellent communication skills & professionalism for explaining procedures and building rapport with clients
Ability to work independently while maintaining a professional demeanor in home & community-based environments
