- Experience in modifying exercises for clients with different abilities, ages, and fitness levels. An instructor who can provide options for both beginners and more advanced participants, ensuring the classes are accessible and effective for everyone.
- Knowledge of injury prevention and how to teach proper form to reduce the risk of strain, particularly for BARRE (which involves precise movements) and aquatic fitness (where water resistance can create unique challenges).

- Strong verbal communication skills to ensure clear instruction, especially when demonstrating complex movements or providing corrections.
Flexibility and Class Variety

Additional Considerations
- Experience with specific populations (e.g., seniors, prenatal/postnatal, rehabilitation) could be a plus, especially for aquatic fitness where water-based exercises are often beneficial for joint health and mobility.
- Familiarity with tracking fitness progress or using technology (like fitness apps or wearables) could also be valuable, especially in the context of general fitness classes.
Education and Experience
If you are a certified instructor in any of the above, we would love to hear from you!
