Graduate Financial Planner
Our client is a respected wealth management firm providing tailored financial advice to a diverse client base. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Financial Planner to support senior financial planners while developing the skills and experience required to progress toward full adviser status.
Responsibilities
Assisting senior advisers with client meetings, preparation of financial plans, and implementation of advice
Preparing and maintaining client documentation including fact finds, risk profiles, and file notes
Supporting the development of client strategies through research and analysis
Ensuring all advice and documentation complies with AFSL, ASIC, and FASEA requirements
Maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and well-organised client records
Providing administrative and paraplanning support to the advisory team
Participating in structured training programs and on-the-job learning
Keeping up to date with financial products, legislation, and industry best practices
Completing CPD requirements and progressing toward relevant qualifications
Shadowing senior advisers to build client engagement and advice delivery skills
Essentials
Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Commerce, or a related discipline (either complete or nearing completion)
RG146 compliance certification completed or in progress (preferred)
At least 1 year of administrative experience highly regarded but not essential
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a professional services environment
Strong work ethic with a genuine interest in building a career in financial planning
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while taking initiative when required
