The Golf Shop Associate plays a key role in delivering a seamless, hospitality-driven member experience while developing operational, leadership, and communication skills under the guidance of PGA Professionals.

About Rose Creek Country Club

Rose Creek Country Club is an 18-hole private country club located in Edmond, OK. The club boasts an active and diverse membership and offers members and guests a long list of private club amenities. The Arthur Hills designed course stretches to 7,048 yards and plays to a demanding par 72. The practice facilities include a multi-tiered driving range and a massive short-game practice area that includes chipping green and putting green. Under new ownership since 2022, millions of dollars have been invested in several areas of the club to enhance overall turf conditions of the golf course and the day-to-day member experience.

Position Overview

The Golf Shop Associate plays an important role in delivering a refined, service-driven golf experience at a premier private club. Working alongside the Golf Professional staff, the intern supports daily golf operations while gaining hands-on exposure to the traditions, standards, and business of a private golf club. This position is ideal for students interested in golf, hospitality, sports management, or luxury service environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, polished welcome to members and their guests, upholding the club's service standards
• Assist with daily golf operations including tee time check-in, member inquiries, and play coordination
• Support golf shop retail operations such as sales transactions, merchandising, and inventory organization
• Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the golf shop to private club standards
• Assist with member events, tournaments, and special golf programs
• Work closely with Golf Professionals and Outside Services to ensure a seamless golf experience
• Represent the club with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail

Essential Responsibilities

Qualifications

• High school or college student with an interest in golf, hospitality, or sports management
• Golf knowledge or playing experience preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and service-oriented mindset
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift, carry, and organize golf merchandise and equipment
