I am working with the CIB controller of this top tier European banking organisation that have a global product control function within India supporting multiple trading desks across credit, rates, fx and commodities businesses.

They are seeking a senior Director, or potentially to Junior MD to lead the existing team of 60 and scale the function further from a people, process and technology perspective.

This is a high-impact role at the heart of CIB, responsible for ensuring the integrity of daily P&L, balance sheet substantiation, valuation, and controls across a complex multi-asset trading environment.

You'll lead a global organisation spanning APAC, EMEA and AMER, acting as the key bridge between Front Office, Market Risk, Technical Accounting, Finance, Regulators and Auditors . Beyond running a best-in-class control environment, you'll drive strategy - strengthening governance, embedding IFRS-aligned accounting, supporting new product launches, and accelerating automation and systems transformation across Markets.

This role suits a proven Product Control leader with deep Markets experience (FX, Rates, Credit, XVA, Commodities), strong regulatory credibility, and the gravitas to challenge the business constructively while enabling sustainable growth. You'll set the vision, develop senior talent, and shape how Markets Product Control operates at scale across the Group.
