Under general direction, provides administrative leadership in the management and coordination of fire safety inspections and fire safety plan review; assists in overseeing building inspection services within the City of Henderson; directs operational activities to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and departmental objectives; serves as the city’s fire marshal with responsibility for administering and enforcing fire code provisions and provides managerial oversight of the building inspection services division in the absence of the manager of inspection services; and performs related duties as required.
