Our client is a well-established organisation operating across multiple locations and cost centres. With ongoing growth and a focus on financial discipline, the business is investing in its finance function to support improved controls, cash flow visibility, and long-term sustainability.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing end-to-end finance operations, with a strong focus on accounts payable leadership, process improvement, and robust financial controls. Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading, mentoring and developing the finance/AP team
• Ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payment runs
• Designing and implementing finance processes, controls and policies to support scale
• Reviewing reconciliations and resolving complex discrepancies
• Preparing and delivering finance and AP reporting to senior stakeholders
• Partnering closely with internal teams to support smooth financial operations
• Supporting cash flow management, audit readiness and compliance

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree-qualified in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing finance teams
• High level of process improvement and systems capability
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident stakeholder management and communication skills
