Your new role

• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports; ensure timely reporting to local management and HQ in HK; maintain clear communication on deadlines and policies.
• Oversee daily accounting operations (AP/AR, payments, expense claims), month-end/year-end closing, tax filings, and statutory compliance; coordinate with external advisors for audits and tax matters.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning; identify financial risks and improvement opportunities.
• Manage payroll processes with HR and vendors; ensure compliance with social and labour insurance regulations
• Implement and improve finance processes and internal controls
• Liason with local external audits and HQ reviews.

What you'll need to succeed

• 5+ years in accounting/finance in Japan / HK; Experience report to overseas HQ preferred.
• Full set accounting experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of JGAAP is a strong advantage.
• Business-level Japanese and Chinese (ideally Cantonese) are required.
• Advanced Excel and familiarity with accounting systems
