Position Summary
The College of Environment and Design ( CED ) at the University of Georgia seeks a highly organized and strategic professional to oversee facilities management, procurement, data analysis, and course and room scheduling. This position reports to the Administrative Financial Director and works closely with College leadership to support operational effectiveness and strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities include coordinating facilities projects and maintenance; serving as liaison to campus service units; managing facilities and procurement budgets; overseeing building access and furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E); and ensuring compliance with university policies and safety standards. The role also leads non-IT procurement activities and supports data-driven decision-making through analysis of enrollment trends, credit hour production, faculty workload, and student outcomes.
Additionally, the position manages course and classroom scheduling, analyzes enrollment trends to inform course offerings, coordinates with academic units and the Registrar, and supports development of the summer schedule.
This position plays a critical role in aligning facilities, financial resources, and academic operations to advance the College's mission.

Facilities Management -
Project management:
- Coordinate all work requests and act as liaison with Finance and Administration service providers such as FMD , Office of University Architects, and Office of Emergency Preparedness, facilitate asset removal (surplus and inventory transfers), etc.
- Communicate in resolving issues, submit work requests for issues needing repair, and oversee project management of activities involving building renovation, maintenance, repairs, and equipment installations, proactively identify, report, and work on resolving facilities issues.
Finance:
- Develop and manage a college budget for facilities, identify funding sources, and efficiently utilize resources for facilities.
Representation:
- Serve as CED representative, such as, not limited to: Building Safety and Security and other appropriate University and College level committees as needed, LSO (Laser Safety Officer) representative, AED monitor and responder, and be the point of contact for facilities
Preparedness:
- Ensure instructional facilities and offices are set up and maintained, and ensure University policy and safety standards are met, in coordination with CED IT, EITS , and UGA CTL .
Access Control:
- Set and manage building access control for students, faculty, and staff.
- Management of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment ( FFE ) in conjunction with IT.
- Other duties as needed.

Course and room scheduling
- Coordinates and troubleshoots course scheduling issues between departments, academic advising, and the Registrar as the backstop for all of CED , including, but not limited to
- Schedules class meetings in CED classrooms and reserves wall pin-up space
- Maintains all CED internal course schedules, solicits course schedules from program coordinators, updates course schedule information, receives and makes changes as appropriate
- Controls and creates semester course loading of all CED class schedules and CED classroom assignments in the Banner (or other) system(s)
- Assists in tracking enrollment for all courses and notifies program directors and associate dean of cancellations or justification
- Making recommendations for action with course schedules as needed and interfacing with department-level administrators and staff to ensure proper staffing of courses and course publication.
- Working with the Associate Dean to craft a summer schedule and funding request.

Data analyst -
Planning and Reporting:
- Assist with developing and implementing policies, procedures, and strategic planning for space utilization and management, accessibility concerns and known maintenance needs, such as, but not limited to: performing ad-hoc analyses and reporting to inform decision-making, and work on predictive modeling or other data mining capabilities, managing the College wide annual MRR Requests, Lab Enhancement Request and Classroom Enhancement Request submittal process and preparing various college level reports.
- Collect and analyze all credit-hour production, course enrollment, and KPI trends for the College; monitor and track data for leadership in the design and implementation of strategic plans.
- Analyzing faculty activities such as teaching loads (grad and undergrad), class sizes, honors teaching, and professional accomplishments.
- Evaluating student academic and professional outcomes on at least an annual basis.
- Analyzing historic and current enrollment trends, including examining student characteristics to understand demand better
