Description
The Oklahoma Single Parent Scholarship Program empowers low-income single parents to pursue higher education. We are seeking a detail-oriented, creative Marketing & Administrative Assistant to support our digital storytelling, donor communication, and day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications
Create and schedule social media content (FB, IG, LinkedIn, TikTok).
Produce short videos and graphics using Canva.
Update website content (Wix).
Draft weekly blog posts and monthly impact posts.
Support newsletters and donor communications.
Administrative & Operations
Respond to general emails/calls; check Zoom phone.
Check mailbox, deposit checks, log donations.
Update donor records in Givebutter and Google Drive.
Send donor tax receipts as needed.
Organize files, meeting minutes, and mailing lists.
Prepare agendas and schedule Zoom meetings.
Assist with board documents and impact reports.
Assist with event planning and execution.
Compensation & Schedule
$27/hour; Up to 16 hours/week for up to 46 weeks/year

Requirements
Qualifications:
Experience in marketing, communications, or nonprofit admin
Strong writing and organizational skills
Familiarity with Canva, social media tools, Google Workspace
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
Interest in education, social impact, or nonprofit work
Expectations:
Up to 16 hours/week for up to 46 weeks/year
Remote work with occasional event support
Not expected to work: 1 week in spring, week of July 4, Thanksgiving week, and 2 weeks at Christmas/New Year (+ 1 additional week of your choosing)
