This is an opportunity to work closely with one of India’s most distinctive portfolio managers and contribute meaningfully to high-conviction investment ideas across sectors. The role sits at the heart of the investment process and is designed for someone who enjoys deep business analysis, independent thinking, and translating insight into action. We are looking for a hands-on equity analyst who is analytical, curious, and increasingly self-directed, someone who can build robust models, develop informed views, and continuously sharpen their investment judgment in a fast-moving environment.

• Conduct in-depth, bottom-up research on companies and sectors
• Build, maintain, and refine detailed financial and valuation models
• Track earnings, business developments, competitive dynamics, and key risks
• Assist in developing clear investment theses and variant views
• Engage with company managements, suppliers, competitors, and industry experts to gather on-ground insights
• Prepare high-quality research notes and presentations for internal discussions
• Support the portfolio manager in monitoring existing holdings and idea pipelines

Requirements

• CFA Level III cleared, with strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, strong financial modelling capability and comfort working with data. An engineering degree from a reputed university will be an added advantage.
• 2 - 3 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or a related analytical role
• Clear, structured written and verbal communication skills
• High ownership mindset. Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to deepen investing judgment
