Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) Student Success Advisors (SSAs) provide comprehensive academic, personal, career, and financial aid advisement to assigned EOP scholars. SSAs are responsible for actively monitoring their respective caseloads and supporting students through all phases of their collegiate experience. Through proactive guidance, individualized support, and continuous assessment, SSAs ensure that EOP scholars are maximizing their potential, maintaining academic progress, and achieving sustained student success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
EOP Student Success Advisor - Responsibilities
Please note: This is a student-facing, on-campus position requiring regular in-person engagement with students.
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, or a closely related discipline.
Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience in college-level academic advising, career counseling, and/or financial aid advisement.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with opportunity or access programs, including but not limited to EOF, HEOP, TRIO, Upward Bound, or Student Support Services.
Salary Range:
$46,800 - $70,200
Exempt/Nonexempt: Exempt
Physical Demands: General Office Environment
