Individual serves the Department of Athletics as Director of Player Personnel with oversight from the Head Football Coach. This position is responsible for assisting the coaching staff in the overall development of the football program, including directly assisting the coaching staff with the preparation, strategy and organization of information related to recruiting activities as well as involvement in on-campus recruiting activity and recruiting correspondence. Individual will assist in recruiting strategy, correspondence and coordination on campus recruiting efforts and campus and facility tours. Other duties as assigned
Job Summary
Designs, analyzes, and executes the recruiting marketing and correspondence plan. Compiles specialized recruiting projects for coaches and aids in managing social media accounts. Coordinates all on-campus recruiting efforts. Assists with coordinating team travel, complying with regulations and standards, and performing associated recruiting administrative duties.
Essential Functions
Recruiting responsibilities include assisting the player personnel department with the recruiting strategy for those individuals identified by the coaching staff as priority athletic recruits. Other related responsibilities include corresponding with priority prospective student-athletes via social and electronic media and assisting the player personnel staff with the on-campus recruiting program, including the management and supervision of official and unofficial campus visits. Practice and competition related duties include hosting potential prospects, their families and guests during practice. Will assist the Associate Athletic Director for Football Administration and Director of Football Operations with operational and logistical duties specific to practice and competition and other administrative duties.
Physical Effort
Individual will stand or walk the majority of the day. Travel will be required at various games and events. Individual will also travel to meetings and around campus for tours.
