SUMMARY:              The Human Resources Director is an operational and compliance leader responsible for implementing all Human Resources functions at Greater New Bedford Voc Tech.  The actions of the Human Resources Director must always be aligned to the mission, vision, and core values at Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech, operating in a fast-paced environment with a forward-thinking team to support evidence-based decisions for the safe, welcoming learning environment for students.  The essential functions of the Human Resources Director (listed below) require strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build coalitions and collaborative working relationships with a broad range of diverse individuals and groups.  This is a non-union, managerial position.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:             Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree or Juris Doctor preferred

                                           (SHRM) certification or eligible for SHRM certification;

                                            >5 years of Human Resource experience working in a school or municipal setting                                                                    Experience working in a unionized environment.
