Job Description Summary
Bentley's Strategy and Innovation Division (SID) seeks a dynamic and results-driven Director of Admissions Recruitment to lead its efforts in attracting and enrolling a talented and diverse student body. This individual will be a key member of the graduate leadership team, responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive recruitment strategy for MBA and MS graduate business programs. This role reports to the Vice President of Strategy & Innovation and works closely with the Executive Director, Strategic Programs & Chief of Staff of Graduate Initiatives and Director of Enrollment Systems and Data Strategy. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in higher education admissions, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the graduate business school landscape.Essential Duties
Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement a data-driven recruitment strategy to meet enrollment goals for all MBA & MS graduate business programs, including MBA, Master of Science in Finance, Master of Science in Business Analytics, Master of Science in Accounting, and Master of Science in Human Factors and Information Design
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with the MBA & MS program directors, faculty, Career and Professional Development, Student Advising & Engagement to incorporate the programmatic vision and direction from an academic, student culture, and employability standpoint into the recruitment of the desired profile student candidates.
Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of admissions recruitment professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Recruitment & Outreach: Oversee all recruitment and yield activities, including campus visits, information sessions, virtual events, and travel to domestic and international recruitment fairs. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, alumni, and corporate partners.
Marketing & Communications: Collaborate with the university marketing and communications teams to create compelling recruitment materials and digital content that effectively promote the Bentley brand and its graduate business programs. Works in close partnership with the Executive Director, Strategic Programs & Chief of Staff of Graduate Initiatives on MBA & MS program story telling.
Partner with the Enrollment Systems and Data Strategy team on matters related to admissions systems, data, insights, reports, training, and business processes related to Admissions.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Use data to track recruitment effectiveness, analyze trends, and provide regular reports to school leadership on progress toward enrollment goals. Works in close partnership with the Director of Enrollment Systems and Data Strategy within Strategy and Innovation to create necessary reports and process to maximize enrollment pipeline.
Budget Management: Manage the recruitment budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently to achieve strategic objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., higher education administration, business, or marketing) is strongly preferred.
A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related field within a higher education setting, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role.
Experience in a graduate business school is a significant plus. Familiarity working international context and partners (corporations, ministries, agents, etc.)
Experience launching and growing new programs in new markets, especially digital and hybrid type programs
Has worked closely with faculty leadership to translate program or academic direction into recruitment outcomes
Advised and counsel potential program or course enrollees on the value add of programs and educational paths
Experience in higher education adjacent roles that can serve as alternative points of view to drive different approaches to problem solving
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
Driving growth through the launch of new programs
A track record of innovating to deliver education related outcomes
Strong analytical skills and experience with CRM systems (e.g., Slate, Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.).
Excellent interpersonal, written, and public speaking skills
Work Environment
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed, up to 40% of the time.

In alignment with the Massachusetts Pay Transparency Act and our commitment to equity and transparency, we're sharing the salary grade range for this role. The grade range is based on market data and the scope of responsibilities. Final pay will depend on your experience, education, and other relevant qualifications.
Salary Grade Range:
$91,150 - $150,890
