The Commercial Analyst supports the Hyatt Centric Atlanta Buckhead's commercial strategy by overseeing analytics, reservation operations, and sales administration functions that optimize revenue performance. This role ensures data accuracy across commercial systems, supports pricing and inventory decisions, and provides high-quality service and coordination for both individual transient and group business. This role would report to both the Director of Revenue and the Director of Sales, Events & Marketing.
Position Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- • Produce reporting and insights that support pricing, inventory strategy, demand forecasting, and market share growth.
- Oversee daily reservations operations, ensuring accurate room bookings, optimal inventory management, and monitor pickup and wash trends.
- Manage individual and group reservations, including block maintenance, cutoff management, and billing accuracy.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of sales inquiries and leads, including deployment and data entry.
- Build and assign group bookings from daily leads.
- Verify contracts, concessions, SOX documentation, approvals, and turnover details.
- Prepare group resumes in coordination with Event Planning.
- Support sales managers with administrative tasks, presentations, site visit announcements and amenity requests.
- Maintain data integrity and operational effectiveness across commercial systems, including IDeaS G3 RMS, SynXis/Reserve, Opera PMS, and Envision S&C.
- Provide insights that support front-office revenue initiatives such as upsell programs and sell-out management.
- Foster strong cross-department communication to support seamless execution of group business and guest experience standards.
- Engage with guests, clients, and travel partners as needed, representing Hyatt and the hotel with professionalism and ensuring a positive and memorable impression.

Qualifications
- Technical proficiency in managing information systems related to commercial functions, including Hotel Industry Revenue Management Systems, Central Reservation Systems, Property Management Systems, Sales and Catering Systems, and various Business Intelligence tools.
- Working knowledge of financial statements and competitive intelligence tools.
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort with AI tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Undergraduate and/or Graduate Degree preferred.
- Previous hotel experience is a plus.
