Cedars-Sinai General Surgery Residency Program has an open position for a PGY-4 Categorical Resident for the 2026-2027 academic year beginning on June 24, 2026.  To be eligible for the PGY-4 position, the applicant must have completed PGY-1, PGY-2 and PGY-3 positions in an ACGME accredited General Surgery Program and are in good standing at your institution.

• Medical School Diploma
• USMLE Scores (Steps 1, 2 and 3)
• ABSITE Reports, each year of training
• ACGME Case Logs (defined category report, case brief report, critical care report)
• Annual Competency-based Summative Evaluation for all years of training
• ACGME Milestone Evaluations, each year of training
• Rotations evaluations, summary report with comments
• List of completed rotations for each year of training
• ACLS/BLS, ATLS, FLS and FES (if available) certificates
• 3 letters of recommendation, must include letter from current Program Director
• Current US citizenship, Green Cards or J-1 Visa status only
