Description
We are hiring for a reputable corporate services company.Role Summary
A strategic Business Development Manager responsible for driving new business growth and strengthening client relationships in corporate services across Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and execute strategic sales plan to promote our accounting, tax, payroll, and corporate services to prospective clients to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and market research, expanding our client base and meeting specific client needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact, addressing inquiries, and ensuring excellent client satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, demos, and proposals, clearly communicating the value of our services to prospective clients and showcasing tailored solutions of our corporate services.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Business Heads) to ensure abreast of industry regulations and to tailor corporate services solutions that meet clients' needs and expectations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, conducting market analysis (and competitors' analysis whenever required) to identify new opportunities and stay competitive in the corporate services market.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for existing clients by referring them to the relevant Business Heads, leveraging the company's full suite of services (including Trust & Fiduciary)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- At least 5 years of BD/sales experience within the professional services (e.g., accounting, tax, payroll, or/and corporate services)
- Bilingual (English/Mandarin) - required to effectively liaise and communicate with English and Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets of closing new clients and securing contracts. • Strong business acumen and understanding of corporate services; including accounting, tax, payroll, and corporate secretarial functions.
- Experienced in client engagement and relationship management, comfortable working with a diverse client base (including European clients and clients across Asia)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both oral and written, with the ability to deliver compelling client service presentations and proposals
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and accountable, with strong ethical standards
- Having a strong existing network with corporate decision-makers within the industry is a bonus.
