Description
Maximus is currently seeking a detailoriented Business Analyst to support our Missouri Enrollment Broker (MO EB) program. This is an onsite position in the greater St. Louis, MO area. The Business Analyst is responsible for the analysis, documentation, and communication of business and technical requirements for system and operational enhancements. This role partners closely with state stakeholders, program staff, and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze processes and data, and translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications.
The Business Analyst will facilitate meetings, support testing activities, and help identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problemsolver with the ability to navigate complex systems, evaluate performance metrics, and ensure alignment with contractual, operational, and regulatory expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Apply strong analytical reasoning to understand end user's requirements and transform them into operational applications
- Acquire deep knowledge of working systems and bring efficient and effective changes for better performance across programs
- Extract, analyze, and report data to support program activity and assist in management decision making
- Audit, evaluate, track, and report performance activity for Performance Management and contract compliance purposes (e.g., alignment with the program’s service-level agreements,)
- Work closely with operations staff to define requirements, test criteria, and identify success factors
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field.- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience using Excel and Smartsheet
- Data visualization utilizing PowerBI and/or Tableau
- Prior call center reporting experience
- Must be willing and able to work onsite in greater St. Louis, MO
Preferred Requirements:
- Prior experience with Medicaid reporting
- SQL skills
